About Wave
I’m a tantric and shamanic practitioner, activist and writer. I believe the power of a deeper dive into Tantra should be for the many, not the privileged few. Whatever your background, ethnicity, sexuality or gender, you are welcome to travel a while with me.
I have more than eight years of tantric and shamanic training. I’ve studied with Alan Lowen (Art of Being) and Pema (Wild Tantra), and spent months in Peru learning from Maestro Heberto Garcia in the Loreto region of the Amazon. My work also draws on de-armouring (Gaia Method), Zen Buddhism in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, CBT, EMDR and Nonviolent Communication.
My work avoids culturally appropriated, pseudo-spiritual language and heteronormative attitudes. Tantra is a teaching beyond language, so I say only what’s needed to enter a practice with the right attitude and technique, and let understanding arrive through the body.
I also co-founded Organising from Elsewhere, which brings these practices to activists and social movements.
