What is Sex Magic?

Books like The Secret tell you that if you think the right thoughts, you can have whatever you want. It’s capitalism’s attempt to blame individuals for their situation. If you had cancer, it’s because you had the wrong thoughts—not because you were breathing in pollutants from the nearby factory.

That’s not what Sex Magic is. But we do manifest. We do create. And there are laws—not rules, for the way the world works.

Sexual Energy is Life Energy

Let’s start with what is sexual energy. Sexual Energy is Life Energy. It’s the energy that births everything from cells to stars. It’s so powerful. It’s from Sexual Energy that a baby is born.

With this understanding of Sexual Energy, we start to understand that this shift from waves to particles, the immaterial into a particular form–these words, these ideas, this computer–takes a lot of energy. And this energy is Sexual Energy.

The reality is that we’re always both at the same time, like a wave appearing in the sea. It swells up in the ocean, “oh I’m a wave, I’m a wave, I’m all separate and alone.” And after a period it crashes back down into the sea. And it’s true, it is a wave, it is a unique and separate shape never to appear again exactly like that in all of eternity, and at the same time it always is and always was part of the ocean simultaneously.

And that movement from ocean to wave is powered by Sexual Energy.

Capitalism has corrupted our idea of manifestation

Sex Magic and manifestation are closely linked. Books like The Secret that imply if you think the right things, if you do certain things, you can have whatever you want are part of capitalism’s attempt to blame individuals for their situation and a corruption of the indigenous world views that these ideas originally arise within.

If you’re not rich and successful, it is because the 1% have extracted more wealth than ever before in human history, leaving very little for the rest of us so that social mobility has died. Your individual intentions, beliefs and practices are not responsible for this systemic injustice.

Working with creative force

And yet we do manifest. We do create.

These words didn’t exist and now they do.

I didn’t exist and now I do.

Form is manifesting in every moment.

And there are movements, like the way night follows day and water runs down a mountain side, we live then we die—timeless ways the world works, universal laws beyond the scope of human influence or understanding.
